"The Three A’s: Awareness, Acceptance and Affection. (Knowledge of your body, wisdom about your body, and loving it just as it is.)"So many wonderful soul's out there reminding us just to love love love ourselves. It's amazing how a little self love and the willingness to share it openly with others can change the world!
This week in preparation for my Yoga Teacher Training I have been reading Stephen Cope's Yoga and the Quest for True Self and what I am clearly getting is a reminder of our magnificent divinity.
"'We are that' which we seek. We are already inherently perfect; we have already arrived; and we have the potential in each moment to wake to our true nature...There is no distance to travel, nothing special we have to do to earn God. It's already a 'done deal.'"Which takes me back to why I love Abby's Three A's...as I release the toxic BS that streams(ed) through my head I ease into acceptance of the entirety of me and my love and affection for all my quirks, lumps and grumpy spots grows.
It is the daily work that meditation and yoga make easier for me to accomplish.
